Honda Owner in DA UP!

Hey Everyone,

Just joined today after reading some of the threads. I own a 98 Honda Civic DX, I have owned it not even a month now. With gas prices theses days i have definitely changed my habits in driving and commuting. I now own a Giant Rincon sport bike to commute to campus, and use my vehicle very little. I go to Michigan Technological university, enrolled in Mechanical engineering, but I am from Kalamazoo, Mi. I am actually leaving tomorrow for a trip home which takes about 10 hours. Last time coming up I was able to get about 33mpg downstate Michigan, and got 42mpg in the UP, partially attributed to speed. Just looking for a few tips and tricks on how to keep improving my mileage. Thanks for the help guys!!

Welcome aboard. I also went to MTU for ME. Damn I miss it up there! Way better than the *$&@ desert!

Drive smart and that 33 mpg should come way up pretty easily.
