Honda swap ?'s

I have an '89 Honda CRX with a 1.5 and an auto. I am in the process of purchasing a d15z1 with a 5spd tranny and was wondering what odds and ends I will have to purchase to finish the swap. I have read that because the car is an auto I might have problems converting it to 5spd. Ill do some further reading on here but was gonna ask someone who may have prior experience.

You shouldn't have issues going from auto to manual, you just need to get the manual engine mounts, use a 88-91 transmission, and hook up your shift linkage.

There are also a number of How-To articles over on CRX Community Forum • Index page -- the "MPFI swap" is one you'll need to look at, because the DX-level CRXes all had "DPFI". They may also have info on doing the auto-to-manual swap.
