How to chage your "user title"

FYI, if you'd like to change your user title (the little phrase under your username - eg. "Ecomodding Lurker"), you can now do that in the User CP (control panel), on the Profile page:

Click here if you're logged in, and it'll take you straight to the appropriate form:

That link gives me a "server not found." I think you have configured ecomodder.com/forum, not forum.ecomodder.com...

We've configured both. Strange, both work for me. I'll change the link anyway.

You're just on the bleeding edge: the interweb domain name servers are still learning who you are.

Give it time...

[edit: as I suspected, after a few more retries, I got there but the vB app didn't recognize my login and gave me the "you're not logged in / permissions" alert page. It prolly depends on how you set your login cookie. For example, the way you have it now (em.com/forum) works correctly because that's what the "User CP" link in your header uses. Clear as mud now?]

...so even my previous edit has a half-truth in it: it depends on the base url you used when you logged in. I think I'll shut up now...

Nope - that's good info. I should have made it a relative link all along. I've changed it in the first post, so now regardless of your incoming base URL, it'll work.
