Advance Auto has a $10 coupon, and Pennzoil is running a $15 rebate on 5 quarts of Pennzoil Platinum. AA was (might still be, will check it tomorrow) selling Pennz Plat for $5/quart. So it's $0.44 (or whatever it is now) for a stamp, plus sales tax. Comes out to about 48 cents a quart, or ~$2.50, for 5 quarts of oil.

Add in a $4 filter, and you have a DIY oil change for under $10.

I've got about 25 cases of oil in my garage and storage buildings that I bought back when oil was dirt cheap. All of it was bought for under $1. a quart and I have about 50 or 60 filters I've bought on clearance when some store was going to stop selling filters or were going to a different brand that I've bought for a $1. or less each so my oil changes are costing me about $3-$5 each and I've got enough oil to last for several years yet.
