how do i re-program my mpguino?

hi

it turns out i dont have an electronic vehicle speed sensor in my vauxhall corsa. instead its a plastic flexi shaft that physically turns the speedometer !

instead i want to use the mpguino to display voltage and calculate average trip voltage from the MAF sensor signal. is it easy to re-program the mpguino to do this?

It shouldn't be too hard, if you know the programming language,

Is there anywhere along that plastic shaft that has an electronic pickup? Im just thinking of the older versions of my cars that have a cable driven speedometer, but there is an electronic pickup on the speedometer that sends pulses to the ECM and cruise control.
