How to export aero spreadsheets tool results?

Hello to all,

Some have asked this to me too! How can one export the very useful spreadsheet results of the aero tool provided in Ecomodder to an excel or other spreadsheet?

I need to do so to transform to metric units, to km/l yield, and to swap the point decimal separator into a comma separator.

Any knowledge about this from the ecomodders?

If you copy the output data table from the tool page, you should be able to paste it directly into a worksheet in your spreadsheet program. (I just tried it - works fine in Excel - the data is pasted in individual cells/rows/columns).

Now you can easily add additional columns in the spreadsheet for formulas to create your new data formats and conversions.

It did not for me, thatīs why I am asking.

In fact, it did copy some info, but headers were lost and strange signs copied in their places.

Besides, my Excel sample uses commas as decimal separators, then, the dots are interpreted as text.

Please, tell me how did headers copy for you?

Everything copied / pasted perfectly for me.

I also just tried pasting into a Google Docs (web based) spreadsheet, and it worked perfectly there also.

How to copy / paste aero tools spreadsheet results

I believe you. Problem is, old version of Excel was nice, gave me the option of different docs pasting, choose separators, special paste, etc.

This new version Office 2007 has menus that nobody recognize or understand, and you can do nothing to control pasting. It does (well) or it doesnīt.

Decimal periods separators are not recognized as such, but as text, by my spreadsheet, so even if I correct one by one errors in headers not copied or bad copied, I cannot operate with the results. They are not numbers any more.

I will try with another spreadsheet that works, maybe these free ones.

I do not like online version you mention, I will not even loose a second trying it.

Thank you anyway for yr help.
