Hybrid Jeep? (not flex fuel)

i've been running ideas through my head about how to make my jeep into a hybrid. it's 2 wheel drive and i was thinking of how to put a couple electric motors up front to put power to the front wheels. does this seem like a possibility or is it a little far fetched?
