Old Mech, This is an old thread but I thought I would revisit it. Tried to PM you but don't have enough posts yet. I'm thinking of starting a hydraulic hybrid project on a Geo Metro. The two problems I'm concerned about are leakage and high GPM usage at high RPMs. Would love to pick your brain on both issues.
