Its alright folks, I managed to get the car back down, the spare tire jack wasn't tall enough, I stacked a concrete slab/square under it and it was just tall enough to do the trick.

I'm working on my belly pan right now... The corrugated plastic sheet can go all the way to the exhaust but I'm not sure if I should run it over the exhaust so as of right now ill run it just up till the exhaust and stop.

I dont want burning melting plastic under my car as i drive.

A friend of mine nearly died after an Isuzu Trooper fell on him. Of course, it was on a trail in Moab, the truck had broken and they jacked it up. but before stabilizing it, my friend crawled under to work on it and it fell. 6 people LIFTED the truck off him, and he knew he was in bad shape, but was able to talk those around him through first aid and stabilizing him. Took way too long for lifeflight to get on site. And during the helo ride to a hospital my friend DID die twice... That was almost 2 years and three surgeries ago. He is a tough guy, retired Army. But the thought of crawling under his Jeep just to change the oil scares him.

jack oil

if the jack has lost any of its hydraulic fluid it will fail to allow full ram extension.Topping-off with "jack oil" from an auto parts store will restore full operation.
