I got accosted for wheel skirts!

Its getting pretty wild around here, people are actually trying to save gas. A guy at church is staying with a friend close to work. My Dad called and asked if his ford ranger still needed the a/c and belt(he also told me to find him a Z1 swap for his $300 civic). I'm not the only person in the slow lane anymore. My neighbor turned in his tundra lease and his wife started using the bus. And a group of women in an Isuzu trooper begged for my phone# for 2 minutes so I could make them wheel skirts! This was at a light that short cycled 2 times and kept skipping us. I finally told them it wouldn't help a SUV and suggested they check out gassavers.org. Thats makes 5 people who've asked me to make wheel skirts, 2 of them before I ever put the stickers on.

wheel skirts=chick magnet? who would have known?

I see the changes also. Maybe we have reached that point where people actually care enough about FE.

People will not care about the environment untill something becomes inconvenient for them.
Now that people are having to pay more for gas, it has suddenly become 'convenient' to be environmentally friendly.

The tabs for the wheel skirts look to be angled aluminum from a home improvement store, am I right?

But what is the dryer vent hose and other tubes under the hood for???
