I did it. I found an E bike on craigs today and I couldn't have been happier. I have been looking for a good deal for a long time. I got it for 350 and it's a 24 volt. I have had some bad preliminary results as far as performance but I will retest tomorrow after a full charge. Anyway, I am going to do my part to save the planet and fuel with a renewable energy vehicle. More to follow!!
yep, I'm thinking of making it a hybrid.... Move the hub motor up front and then moount a rear wheel drive 49 cc gas (icky gas!) motor on the back. The electric could get me there and the gas...... get me home!!! or the elect could assist the gas and improve the 120 mpg mileage..... but we'll see!!!
