I had one, too...once.

I used to own a Geo Metro. Unfortunately in my pre-ecomodder days. It was that hideous teal blue/green color. One day at work the line guy came into the hangar and said "Who drives the homosexual green Metro? You're lights are on." Right then and there I knew I had to paint the Metro! Less than a month later it was 'bright red' with two big white racing stripes from bumper to bumper. I can't remember how many cans of spray paint I used, but it was way more than I had figured! I DO remember buying every last can of 'bright red' from the closest three Auto Zones...
I combed through the photos on my hard drive, but this is all I could find.

Yup, British Racing Green.
Because 'homosexual red' would've meant that it was some gay shade of fuschia or something. I obviously already wanted to paint it, so it was just an excuse to go ahead and do it.
