Idea for aero testing

You know the gymnasts who use the stick with a ribbon on it? Well VHS tape works the same way and is cheap, or free if you have some VHS tapes laying around. Why not use various lengths for aero testing? It shows alot of what is happening, is light weight and pretty durable.

I was thinking the same thing about fly-fishing line. It comes in bright (read; easy to see) colors.

For standing still, or something like tuft testing?

I get a good idea of my Vibes aero by where the dirt, precipitation and salt collects.
