Well, been away for a while just doing my 120 mile roundtrip commute in my 86 CRX Hf. I am getting about 48 mpg right now due to the cold weather. Anyway i was doing some research on Hf's and found that a fellow modder here took a 88-91 Hf and put a VX or D15Z1 motor and used the Hf transmission to get 65-70 mpg. So I emailed him a little bit and just this week I found my motor. I picked up a D15Z1 with 160K on it for $150. It came with everything too, Dizzy, ECU, wiring harness, transmission still attached and exhaust manifold. Now I am going to be on the lookout for a 90-91 CRX Hf that I will transplant the VX motor in and see where it takes me. Either way I can't lose I think.
