yea less torque, but what's the tricke going to weigh, 2 maybe 3 times the bike. sure it won't be a 911 carrera, but it should still be zippy when your not hypermileing.

i'm not saying a trailer's a bad idea, it's just that there'll be a 1/2 ton off tools in it. i've got a note book i write my xr3 ideas in, and there is an entry that reads, "trailer hitch?" along with a lot of others that end with a "?"

Sure. And after all, the torque-to-weight ratio would still be more favorable than in a random subcompact car. But hypermiling with a hi-revving sportsbike engine would be higher than doing so with a slightly bigger and a little less-revving engine out of a cruiser.

Had to work last weekend, which put 8.5 hrs. of OT on this check, so I used some of the extra $ to order an Ultragauge.

My UG showed up today. Still trying to figure out whether to mount it by the instrument cluster or on the, all but useless, rear view mirror. I've got a mounting plan for each location, just need to sleep on it.

Got the UG installed.

Did it in a fashion so it would slightly rock, and by pushing a appropriate corner you can actuate the corresponding button. We'll see, if this doesn't work well, I've got back up ideas.
