Talking Intake cleaning + valve adjustment =40 MPG!

This weekend i decided to check the valves on my v6 accord, while i was at it i cleaned the intake runners and manifold and their many carbon filled passages. 18 valves adjusted and a bottle of throttle body cleaner later...The car feels more responsive and at least 10 hp more powerful. And apparently at least 3 mpg more efficient too! One big improvement gas mileage-wise i noticed is that at 65 mph when i go into neutral i'm now getting 180 mpg instead of 150 mpg.

This is my first 40+mpg trip! Its going to be difficult to beat my goals, but this sure helps! The trip was 45 miles, about 80% highway at 65 mph. Current mods: 44-42 PSI and 60% grill block.

Great job with the PM and leading to better MPG!!! Hopefully the gains remain as such and you see a nice bump in your fuel log for many fills to come. Wasn't aware that newer cars needed valve adjustments good info to know and look into for my fleet.
