Talk about 'wag the dog'.
I did not bother to post that one here as it is an aerodynamic mess. However it predates the production model of 1968 and it's iconic greenhouse by a good four years. I always thought the rear window and deck was mid-engine inspired, sort of like a Ferrari GT308 which came much later. And now I finally see the source - only took me +40 years to discover and have confirmation.

The other car Aerovette (Zora's Dream) has been posted here, a disappointing Cd, and we saw why when I found a Corgi model's underside.

NOTE: That Moto Guzzi motorcycle above is sweet.............any more information on it?

EDIT:

The Sprinter concept
Gannet Design Moto Guzzi Sprinter Is a Truly Different Concept - autoevolution

Quote:
Few riders know that the Moto Guzzi V8 motorcycle was one of the fastest and most badass bikes of its time, and was doing over 170 mph (270 km/h) in the mid-50’s. However, even though the bike was only produced for racing purposes for a few years only, the heritage of the 500cc-class V8 beast has endured the passing of time, and designers like Ulfert Janssen of Gannet Design are not afraid to make use of its almost magic allure.........................

The blue Moto Guzzi Sprinter is a drag racer, hence the small winglets on either side of the fairing, heling add some extra down force to keep the nose on the track.

"Interesting Aerodynamic Cars" is a bottomless well. I'm Okay with that.

Standard Isetta mechanicals, except 'doped' racing fuel, longer-legged gearing and tires pumped to 2x.

Also, check out the laid back windshield on the car in the background. It's like a 1930s body with 1950s glass. Then there's this:

The lower body character line is very similar to the Saturn SC, which could easily use the partial skirts.

I know I point to JACG a lot, but this is what he posted immediately after the VELAM Isetta:
