an interesting point of view (wool tuft testing video)

for the title of this thread, I have been insiperd

so, I have testing the rear end (declidt) of my car using famous wool tufts.
After to have numbered (for to help the interpretation) the wool stufts, and photographed the details, I have fixed the camera in the seat passenger

By fabrio at 2008-04-01

and I have measured the position of extended wool stuft

two pics below, they evidence that the extended sool stuft is under the ipotetical line of roof-declidt.
You can see that the extended wool stuft is in turbolent area...the famous buble it describet in this topic : http://forum.ecomodder.com/showthread.php?t=1548

Looks pretty good. Hard to tell if #6 and #13 are not so great, or just an unlucky picture.

Very interesting.

I think this is the highest speed for tuft testing that I've seen.

The article(s) on this subject at autospeed.com were conducted at much lower speeds... 70-80 km/h.

Just watched the videos... awesome

If you do this again, try only cracking the windows too... I found similar distrubrances with my windows barely open compared to fully opened...
