Intro (car)

Ok. Sadly, my V-DUB is ****. The odds of it running anytime soon are 1 in a million. I will now introduce my first car ever.
The 1975 Pontiac Firebird. Complete with gas-guzzling 455 V-8!

I've been trying to avoid braking by coasting to lights, but I'm not sure how much it helps. If I let it idle, it'll stay at 25 MPH so I think I can do that most of the time.

My first car was a 1975 Pontiac Firebird with the 350 V8. I called it the "Pontiac Puttybird" because of all the bondo in the body

Welcome to the site.

1975 is the only year the parking lights were mounted in the grill FYI

Just from my own experiences, coasting from high gear don't hurt and it adds up.

Yeah, I always get Frustrated when people mistake the car for a 74 or a 76.
I have to point out the wrap around window that's not present on a '74 and the abscense of parking lights on the 76 along with it's slimmer nose.

My first car was a 1976 Firebird formula, never got to drive it though. Didn't know how to fix them up back then. God I wish I had that car now, So sexy with the twin scoops in hood.
