Cool Introducin' Myself

Hey everyone,
My name is Wyatt Adamson. I am a junior in highschool, don't second guess me with the whole "teenagers know everything" cliche, I've always hated that saying... Anyway, I LOVE photography and have had my Pentax K-X for almost a year now along with Photoshop which I try to use as frequently as possible. I'm kept pretty busy with school and work. I work at my dads carlot 'Auto Stop' in Blackfoot, ID [Great cars at awesome prices btw].
I currently own a red 1994 Honda Civic EX that I am very proud of (Bone stock, except muffler). I'd like to say it's a head-turner..
Lately I've had quite an intrest in CRX's. The gas mileage amazes me and I've been in search of that perfect HF model with no avail for quite some time!
My plans are to swap a VX motor into the much watched CRX to try and get amazing mileage
Pm me for any questions I guess!!
Thanks,
Wyatt

Do the trans, then an mpfi swap.

The trans is basically a bunch of R&R, everything if already set up to bolt it in.

You need the trans, flywheel, clutch kit, clutch cable, pedal box, shift linkage, and axles.

For mpfi swap, you'll need to do this to put in the vx engine, so better to get it over with now.

If you keep the oem ecu for now, you'll get a check engine light for tclock, because you won't have a torque converter anymore. No biggie.

One factor that might make you not want to mpfi right away is that it requires a new ecm... And so does the vx swap itself, because it needs a vtec capable unit, preferably the one designed to run it.

So swap in the manual trans, keep the auto ecm in there, then start gathering parts for the VX swap, including the new ecm required, then do all the wiring/swapping at once for engine stuff.

Funny how quite a few Honda's in those days didn't have a top grille at all.
But hardly anybody noticed.

Makes you wonder why the huge "brand image" grilles on todays cars would be necessary at all.
