Not sure if I is the only one out there from the Isle of wight, but
heres hopeing,

Holy crap Binky! I would guess there are none near you but......i could be wrong!!
I'm only across the water in Ireland but i would have to rule out any chance of going to the Isle of Wight.

Well if there arent any others on the Isle of Wight, might have to spread it to an entire UKish area, and arrange a meet in england( nautral ground) so to speak sea if that gives us ay better response

I believe the Isle of Wight is also a "transition town" or "transition isle" I suppose.

That's a concept for towns that are working on transitioning away from oil and other high energy sources.

Perhaps you could see about meeting new people through that and help push fuel economy ideals?
