Issue with new posts on existing threads - Fuel Economy, Hypermiling, EcoModding News and Forum

What am I doing wrong? When I go to check an updated thread, I get dumped at or near the final post of it rather than at the first new post. This is the only forum where I've encountered this issue. Am I doing something wrong or is that just the way it is?

Go into your "User CP" -- link at the top...

(Left Side -> click "Edit Options")

Scroll down to see Thread Display Mode. If it's set for "newest first" then you'll get that kind of read.

NP -- I got bored and stumbled upon it one day -- It's how I've had vB sites arranged for quite a while now. It's especially helpful for long, multi-page threads (and to save the scrolling time).

RH, mine was set on oldest first. I think that the setting you are talking about just reverses the order of the whole thread, but I'll try and see what progress I can make in there. Thanks...

Back to back here...

I think it may be the default thread age setting. The default is the Forum default which may be today. Could an Admin check what it is set at? If so, that might be it. I've set it for 2 weeks and the threads I haven't looked at seem to be opening up at the last read spot.
