I just went to Syracuse, NY and got a '80 Kawi KZ250 with 7,500 miles on it. Not sure what direction I'm taking it, but everything looks pretty clean on it. I'm gonna pull the carb and clean it, but that's about all that should be necessary, other than cleaning/maintenance.
I doubt I'll end up with any kind of fairings on it, but it ought to be a sipper, for sure. I'm actually thinking about going for the old-school cafe-racer approach, but kinda different. I dunno.
What kind of stuff you got that ain't working out your way?
