J1772 adapters for sale

J1772 Adapter

He's selling those with almost no profit margin, just to start getting them out there. I think he builds them himself. So, if you want to charge your EV at 70 amps, check it out.

I like that he sells it with a signal generator for the charging station to talk to, I've seen just the plugs or receptacles for sale other places but that is all they are selling, or the J1772 plug to dryer style plug all in a tidy little box, you can get on Ebay.
Up to 70 amps at 240 volts is a pretty fast charge! of course charging stations are not a chargers, they are a 240 outlet with a built in extension cord built in to it that you can lick without getting a shock and plug in/unplug 10,000 times without it wearing out.
So in all reality you should be able to tap in to a single power leg and the ground/common and get 120V and power a 120V charger up to 70 amps, at least I think that is the case, otherwise we will all need to upgrade to 240v chargers!

There are others selling too. Here is one that has the connector and junction box with a pigtail lead as well.

For info all these come from a company in china called dostar ev:
Dostar EV

I got a set of euro ac and dc fast charge plugs and sockets from them. Communication was poor but the items arrived on time. VERY good price and build quality.
