Bsfc

So 2,000 rpm is the 'sweet-spot' for your engine. That's nice to know, and worth publishing at the BSFC thread at one of the other forums.

Like the little mini-kamm. A lot of guys here have done mini-kamms and gotten good results.
By no mods I meant nothing extreme
Front airdam and mini-kamm are both "mandatory", I like the look of them. At first I thought the mini-kamm looks good but then I noticed the shape and thought it's also a useful mod.

Yes, looks like it. Now I understand why when I bought the car and brought it home (600 high-way miles) I was cruising between 2000 and 2200 rpm. And I got my best mileage to date... a bit under 30mpg.

Back on topic: I got most of the airdam done, just need to finish up the mounting and add a small downward lip. I could not bend the plastic sheeting so the airdam covers only half of the tire width
Pictures later

This is how the airdam looks. Very easy to install/uninstall.
If only i could've bent the plexiglass and covered more of the front tires...
Grill block coming up tomorrow. I'm going to steal the idea of another member and make 'plugs' for the small grill openings. Given that it's hot outside, i will only block 4 out of 7 openings.

In my country, there is a company that offers a range of turbos focused on fuel-efficiency, but they're fixed-geometry type instead. One thing I am still somehow afraid regarding a VGT is the carbon build-ups.

I hope a spirited acceleration once in a while (to push EGT over 1000*F) and a few full open/close cycles after shut-off, forced by the controller, will keep carbon build-up problems away.

Do you have anymore details on those turbos?

Search for the Ecoturbo Biagio. Not sure if they export directly to Europe, however...

Any pages about the Biagio that happens to be in English?

Looks like the roads to greece have not been mileage-friendly. 4 peoplr in the car, full trunk ,about 200 highway miles and 400 miles of 2-lane roads, bad surfaces, passing slow cars, speed limits and so on. Right before i left, i took the jeep to a carwash and the guy there managed to break 6 inches from the airdam.
I estimate about 27mpg over the last tank, considering the road to the beach everyday is a mountain road. Not bad though.

Other numbers: 4psi cruising on flat ground at 62mph (2000 rpm), EGT 600F.
At least the view om the beach is good
