I'm sure some version of Civic from that year range had a tach, probably the Si/EX. Find a cluster from one of those and swap it in. Get the MPGuino too. The instant feedback is really helpful with learning how to get the best mileage possible.

I took it to the gas station and back to fill up. I couldn't get the intake off because there is a hose that runs from intake to the engine that I couldn't remove.

The engine idles high for a second or two after starting and it goes away as I was doing alot of coasting and the engine sounded fine. Could have been bad/old gas cause that?

I spoke too soon. Took it to Home Depot and back, and I kept having to lift the pedal back up with my foot. Guess I'll have WD-40 the pedal as suggested, and try to get the intake off.

4-speeds are not so bad at all. At least with less gears to keep chasing the clutch might last a little longer
