just saw this and had to share!

probably a repost, this idea is great, I was wondering how I could make an existing car go hybrid, this guy put the motor inline with the driveshaft. He calls it an elctric power adder, but I thik it could be reworked for max fuel economy

They have not updated the webpage since 2008 I do not think they will ever sell anything but the idea could work.

I agree with Phantom. I noticed the electrocharger in 2007 but it doesn't seem to have gotten past the university-test bed. See this thread.

For the Future Truck Competition a number of teams used a motor inline with the drive shaft so they could turn them in to a hybrid, I've never found documentation on any of their designs but teams were given extra points for using off the shelf parts and keeping the costs down.
