Thumbs up Just wanted to say thanks to ecomodder!

Maybe it is this time of year getting to me, but I just wanted to through out a hearty THANK YOU to the admins, the moderators, and EVERYONE I have come across on ecomodder.com

Even when there is disagreement on perhaps passionate subjects, I have never seen a disrespect that you may see elsewhere on the 'interwebs'.

I am thankful for the help I have received directly though posts and PM's, but also to stuff I have read from others that just keep my brain active.

I am also thankful to have been now a bit helpful to some others as well in their projects. It does feel good to know you helped others (also popular this time of year...)

This is a "sum is more than it's parts and people" situation.

The technical knowledge being documented for whole world to see, especially when stuff does not go according to plan, is a great contribution to society I think.

Later all, Sean

I'll second that notion: thank you ecomodders!

5 years later, I'm still regularly amazed, motivated & inspired by this community.

EM is 8 years old and going eh? Sweet...

Thanks for Birthday link Darin

Happy belated 8th BD to Ecomodder as well

I think 8 year olds are at a good age.

Old enough to know how to use a zip tie, screwdriver, coroplast, and 3rd party OBD II gauges...

Young enough to not have been negatively influenced by their peers in their of acceptance of mechanical practices outside of the scope of 'grown ups' normal.

Glad my 6 year old thinks pizza pans are cool. Just have to keep her open minded her whole childhood and who knows what she can do with her life for the good...

Oops - not 8. Five. (Mistake copying a thread messed up the dates!)

Also: I think it's cool you involve your daughter in your projects! Way to teach & bond. She'll be able to tell good stories about her pops in the future.
