Kia Ray concept car

I spotted this link yesterday on a Kia forum. I was most interested in the Ray concept hybrid that they are showing on the left. It looks like it would have a very low CD to me. there isn't much for details, but I think it would be a car they should try to produce, even though I know that production models are never quite like the concept. I'm just throwing this out for discussion. What are your thoughts?

I like the pictures of the Ray in your URL. It's got suicide doors, woo-hoo!

thanks for the link to further info on this car. I'm a little suprised that the CD on this car is no better than a Prius. I would have thought it would be, but, looks can be deceiving. Even so, if they produce it with the purposed drivetrain thy discuss in the Yahoo article, I think it would be far cheaper to operate for many people.
Sorry about starting a second thread on the same topic. If someone wants to merge the two, feel free.

The real reason is "it's a show car", but there is a pragmatic reason too :

In the design, the long front door is coupe-like for easy driver access. The rear door is too small, *unless* it's a suicide door. In this situation, you open both doors in order to get into the back. This is the same thing they did with the Saturn Ion coupe :

...and, now you know *why* GM killed the SATURN line--it was "suicide" (wink, wink)!
