Besides accosting a Japanese exec from nissan to tell him to bring the Note to NA (he told me to get a Cube, but I said I wanted easy parking and didn't have a family, and he understood and told me he'd report to his superiors but we didn't exchange business cards so ultimately I failed in my desire to make japanese contacts), I took some pictures of the stuff Nissan had out.
The day actually began with a speech from the CEO on the future of cars and Nissan. Here's what's important from that:
-industry consolidation will occur
-short term thinking will dominate through the recession
-emerging markets are the new focus
-2.5 billion cars by 2050
-electric is the future
