LA Auto Show: Toyota is boring (scion too)

I've read in more than one place that they plan to reveal the new Prius at the Detroit show. A shot across the bow of the Big 3 in their home town show.

The LA Auto show used to be in January, which was the same month as the Detroit auto show. Because of this, the LA show got the dregs in terms of concept cars. I can still imagine that the "politics of concept cars" would make manufacturers want to save "the good stuff" for Detroit.

In detroit they are going to show off the next generation Scion TC which will be a RWD coupe with a Subaru boxer engine. Can't wait that one. Prius is so 6 months ago. Nobody cares anymore.

Detroit has sweeter cars in the entrance hallway before you get to the ticket booths than most other shows have on the entire floor.

Even though Cleveland claims to be an "international" car show it looks like a joke compared to Detroit.

For auto shows. . .either visit Boca Raton, Miami, Los Angeles or Paris lol. Talked to a guy who owned a Ferrari Enzo like two months after they went up for sale while I waited on my friends to get down the Eiffel tower. Then a friend and I, who were huddling together because it was like 15 degrees, got a creepy random hug from a French security force soldier carrying a FN-P90. It was the winter after the riots and they had just carted off another radical a few days earlier. Doesn't change the fact that the hug from a random heavily armed foreigner was very creepy.
