Mine varies from being ahead and behind my on board measurement. Have you tried switching both to MPG to see what the difference is in that mode - I think it only goes to .1 in l/km ?

Its worth having both AVG and MPG on together though to keep the latter ahead of the former.


EDIT if the MPG figure is based on air ratio, does it not alter when you tell it you are using a Diesel car ?

No, haven't tried that yet
This mpg thing is still an alien measurement to me.

I may need prior royal permission to use Her Majesty's Measurements on our Majesty's soil

It should know, as you can tell the SG wether it's dieselA or dieselB .

My scan guage never seemed to be as accurate as my mpguino.
