I was thinking about changing them to lighter ones. This is on a 95 Camry le 4cyl.Has anyone done this already? I read about this somewhere, maybe here?

I would not for your engine.
there are strange cases in the past where one part did everything..
a good example is the old subaru I am driving. It is simply a 9to1 engine, with a carburator...
the same engine had a turbo edition. all springs very hard, all versions. Even the oil pump is absolutely gigantic without the turbo.

this is very rare to think about. I would leave oe springs alone.
I am still not going to change my cold tappers..23 years doesn't happen to everything..

If you will never rev the engine up to higher RPMs, you might be able to get away with that without grenading the engine. You might reduce the friction in the engine by a few percent, depending on what's in there now.

IMHO, not nearly worth it. I'd look into other mods, like increasing tire pressure and possibly getting taller gearing.

IMHO, weaker spring will cause those valves 'floating' at higher rpm...

I'd like to hear more on this. With the LS engine series GM moved to "beehive" springs. They were able to lower seat pressure and maintain performance. Your Camry may already have them, it would be worth checking. As far as I know the aftermarket is pretty small on them in general.
Google beehive valvesprings for more info.

To OP:
There was a HUGE thread about this a few months ago, and the general consensus around here was...it wouldn't be worth it.

The time and expense to change springs would not be worth it IMHO. Tire pressure increase would have more positive affect than less valve spring tension. You will not be happy if you float the valves and bend 3 of em!

Injector kill switch would be way better and easier to do, not to mention cheaper.
