And no, I don't really care what your local law may or may not say... Not using one proves without a single doubt that you have nothing in there to protect...
It's one of my pet peeves with the local kids, that go without to be cool (even though it's required by law) I ask them if they think a baseball bat to the head is cool and explain that that is about the same impact as them hitting their head when falling over stationary...

And yeah, I might have another outlook on it... I always go ATGATT... But I deal with 2 wheeled vehicles between 160 bhp (my daily driver) and a roughly 700 bhp Hayabusa with a turbo (And yes, that's rearwheel, dyno verified and yes, it's fully driveable... And no, it's not really eco friendly...)
