I'm Chris, with a 97,Geo Metro with a lot of body rot
I'm a Tech Suport Specialist wh doesnt mind getting his hands dirty, I paint, sculpt and am a basic Jack of all Trades I've got alot of work to do on my car so nows the time to think about Mods. My goal is to make The Metro cool and efficient bo I can be happy with it and yet not embaraced to drive it right now it's pretty sad. You folks have a nice group here so I think I'll learn a few things

Welcome to the forum.

How's the rust around the control arm mounts? That can be a the biggest problem with these cars.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

I agree with MetroMPG. Check the control arm mounts. They can be pretty nasty! Good luck with the Metro!

It's going to be rough folks I will update as I have time and money to repair.
pictures soon I have not crawled under the car but have seen what suspiciously looks like a hole in the floorboad on the drivers side, a size 7 high healed shoe may be the culprit. I'm afraid I'll have to inspect the control arm mounts this weekend. whish me luck.
