Metro Mods...

Since I have a '94 4dr, Metro-base 5/3... I was thinking of going with Xfi cam/trans. Are the regrinds a 'clone' of Xfi or are there slight mods? My daily drive consists of about 50/50 either way I take. I rarely need to slip the clutch or haul others... I think the modified torque curve will be close to offsetting the gearing change... and a new set of rings will probably get me a 'poorman's rebuild' worth of compression.

but
do not use the +10 cam gear that many of the posters on those forums will recommend
they are unable to comprehend the facts regarding the how and why it can not and in fact does not provide any benefit .
and
do not advance your base ignition timing over 8 degrees btdc

thanks man! sorry for the late reply. That cam place on the westside of my state charges $75 for regrind to match Xfi. junkyard trolling will be my past time till i find one.
