Metro Owners - Method for grill block between hood and bumper?

So how are you guys filling the gap between the hood and the bumper. You know, the 1" tall gap right between the headlights.

I've got a couple of ideas, but I wanted to see what everyone else had come up with. My car is a 96 model, by the way.
