Mid Summer Michigan Meet-Up

Hey all fellow michiganders and mid-westerners. I would like to orchestrate a meet up to acquaint ourselves with fellow ecomodders, show off our rides, and have a good time. If interested please post ideas as for time that you would;

I will break the ice by saying anytime really during the summer works well. Obviously a weekend would probably work best for most of us. I do have kids as well so this would have to be either conceived as a picnic where we all meet-up at a park, grill, and possibly consume some of my hombrew or we can make this strictly an ecomodder meet and greet and possibly meet at Founders in Grand Rapids, or blow up a local watering hole with our assortment of 'interesting' looking vehicles. Either way i'm looking forward to having this come to fruition.

A year or two ago there was a successful meet in Indiana which I was unable to attend. I would like to go, but need to find some money to get new tires and refinish the wheels on my truck before I go anywhere. Grand Rapids would be a bit of a haul, but it would be better than Indiana.

Maybe something like late July? It should be noted that Belle Isle in Detroit would be a pretty good place to meet if we were to meet on the East Side.
