Midwest Impala

Hello folks. Checking in here and setting things up ( I hope ) to actually learn more on what I can do with my car. Rough best mpg back last fall was 37.2 on highway trip but normally 33-34 mpg is best for this vehicle. City driving... well wont go there...lol. Will check in from time to time as I drive semi for a job and it keeps me busy. Cheers.

Thanks. Yeah, decent mileage for a GM large sedan, if I am careful. Now there are times I have not gotten my brain and foot in the habit of driving carefully, so... lol. Some days I am ripping around just like some of the others. But driving carefully has become more of a habit since last year when I started driving 18 wheels and a heck of a lot of weight.

I bet you've gotten better at timing while driving, too - so you don't have to bring the rig to unnecessary stops.

Welcome to the site.

Very true, timing is a lot more important in driving the rig compared to the false security we feel in the car. Still have yet to lock the brakes on the rig, a plus as far as I am concerned...lol

Well got some decent mileage in the Impala while home for an extended break. Now about to go back on the road, so my poor car will suffer again probably. Ah well. When I hit the lottery I will have fun...(coughs and chokes)
