[Mod list discussion] grill block wiki discussion

Where is the Grill block wiki page? It should be under Aerodynamic mods - fabrication but no page is there.

Saand, can you please add this one (I have not figured out how to edit tables in the Wiki).

I have a nice how to thread that I will make into the wiki page (and the intro stuff).
http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...rix-14236.html

Also I think that the mods should be in alphabetical order (easier to find).

Thanks
Ben

Weather Spotter, very nice how to you put up.
Looks like you have solved your problem of linking pages.
Sorry I could not answer quicker I am in Australia so I was asleep

I am happy to have the list in alphabetic order, the order was just done completely based on the existing list. I easily find things by just doing a word find. If your particularly interested in making it alphabetic your welcome to make the change in the main list. I am a bit busy at the moment trying to get some detailed measurement data from my car mods.

I just added the summary data to the main page as well.

I figured you were asleep so i hunted for the help page as ours was blank (I fixed that).

How does my page look in terms of the template you were using ( I just made it up with lots of copy paste)?

The page looks good, I expected lots of copy and paste as the wiki formatting is a bit hard to know unless you read the large user guide and im happy to fix up formatting after people have pasted in there data.
I will do some quick formatting changes later tonight. particularly something with the main pictures, i like the before and after so ill just have to work out how to shrink them and put them side by side. I may end up just doing it by making one picture out of the 2.

I like the pictures shrunk, how did you do that?

Also your intro is much better than mine!

Thanks for fixing the formatting (I am much better at content than formatting)!

Also the stats on the main page (for grill block) need updating as another user added his data.

For the pictures I just copied yours onto my computer and made a single image out of the 2.
to put them on the right side there is a word in the code that sets it to the side.

I think you had copied sections from other pages to make up that page, you might find it easier to copy the whole template then make any changes if you make up a page again. That way you will get all the formatting for free but I don't mind changing it anyway, Im just happy if people are putting any information in to the wiki.

I realized i missed putting this page in the list, think i was making up the main list late at night.

The intro I pinched from the ecomodder 65+ efficiency mod blurb, and added a word or 2.
The other user stats from arminius I put in as I saw the ABA results on one of the threads and it looked like good solid measurement data. I have already updated the main page with the arminius results. I haven't averaged with yours (weather spotter) as yours is not yet proven.

I think the wiki is already working for me at least, seeing the 2.67 % improvement with proven results I think I might be doing a grill block soon.

I also think that the Wiki is working, it is nice to see all the mods in one place with a quick summery of each.

I am working on getting the test data, I have 5 things to test. If I do them all at once (over about 6 hours) I can do AB,AC,AD,AE,AF,A. Also the middle "A"s can be smaller sample sizes. This will knock off 2.5 hours of testing!
