FYI, if you're a regular on the forum, you probably haven't received one of our e-mail newsletters.

We've been sending them out for quite a while now as a way to remind registered users of the neat stuff that gets posted in the forum & blog.

Up to today, we have been sending ONLY to members who hadn't logged in for several weeks or more. The rationale was that the "regular" users obviously don't need to be given an incentive to visit to the forum.

But after talking it over, we decided this month to send it to everyone. Mostly this is because unless you're a hardcore participant, it's possible to miss a good discussion thread. (I know I do all the time.)

Anyway, this is a heads up as to why ~1400 of you have received an e-mail update who may not have seen before.

If you want to unsubscribe, you can do so through your user control panel by opting not to receive mail from admins. (Instructions are also in the e-mail update, at the bottom.)

And if you see items you think are worthy of including in next month's notice, feel free to post here or send a PM!
