I've finally started seeing these on Class 8 trucks here in the USA. That crowd has always been ahead of the curve with aero since the oil price spike after Hurricane Katrina.

Goro Tamai reported that on solar race cars:
*a tri-spoke wheel had Cd 0.038
*a flat disc wheel had Cd 0.364
*a convex full disc was Cd 0.361
