I would but they just don't seem to be as widely used! IIRC the 1.9PD was only in 5 manufacturer's cars

that's not really an engine, more a way of artificially boosting headgasket sales

Fair point about the hdi lumps..

As for the vw pd-they were used in the mk4 transporter too

My Grandma has a Corsa C with one of those. It takes a while to get used to when switching over from my turbodiesel, but I like it anyway. I've heard it's called a petrol-powered sewing machine

Peugeot 1007, 3008 and 5008, Partner and Expert vans;
Citroen Jumpy ;
Mini Countryman ;
Ford Grand Cmax ;
Mazda 5 (in early 2011)

It's actually in 2 different generations (not facelifts) of the C4 and C5, Ford Focus, Cmax.

In 2-valve / cylinder form it'll also appear in the Volvo S60/V60.
