Motor choice

Hello All,

After being enthused by Darin/Paul/Ben's threads (and spending about 3 weeks reading about open source contollers and the like) it seems like a good idea to do similar. The choice of vehicle is yet undecided but are these ebay find motors the tight sort of thing for a small (1800/2000lbs) car?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Those would be perfect motors for a 2000 pound car. 8" diameter. My car's 2200 pounds, and has a 6" diameter motor.

edit: oops. I didnt' see the low power rating. Maybe not a good idea. Or maybe they are way underrated.
