I remember seeing this about 15-20 years ago, and thinking it had Mr Wheeler/Walker backwards then. Mr. Walker is not a nice average person, he is a jerk who puts on a nice guy persona when he is observable in society. Then from the relative anonymity of his car his real character comes out.
