MPGuino Acura Integra, All injectors read 12v??

Hello,

Got the MPGuino in yesterday and the instructions say to tap into an injector lead that reads 0v, however, it seems all of my injector connections read 12v. Any help?

Am i supposed to take the readings from the injector side or ecu side?

Its for an Acura Integra GSR or (b18c1) engine.

Thanks!

I would unplug all the injectors at the same time in that case and see if one of the two leads going to the injector you want to tap isn't at 12v with the ignition on. I don't know vehicle particulars, but it isn't uncommon for several injectors to be hardwired to fire at the same time, and the 12 volts you see might be coming through another injector that is still plugged in.

Oh, is that what you mean? Ive been testing both leads going in (with voltmeter + on one lead and - on the other lead = 12v).

So what i should be doing instead is (- on chassis ground, then use + to see which one of the two wires coming in is 12V?)

yup, volt meter connected to ground and see which lead has 12 volts on it, and tap into the other lead.

Note, most cars switch the injectors on and off with the negative lead, but not all, but I think your honda probably does.
