It's not a constant AFR it varies with throttle position and rpm (load) lean at lite loads but just don't have to try to stay in lean burn. I don't drive this car any more, I sold it to my son. He's not an ecomodder but he still gets a combined 47 mpg on a car with 230,000 miles on engine that has never been open. I used to average 50+ with some 60+ mpg when I was driving it regular.

Does anyone have the approximate numbers for a 1993 1.5 liter Civic DX ? ( automatic if that makes any difference at all )
My VSS pulse is currently set at 7695, and the car is getting a most likely accurate 10 miles per gallon.

Instant FE at a steady 60 MPH is right at 30 MPG. ( varies between 29 and 31 )

The speedometer numer given is pretty much spot on.

I don't have the other numbers handy at the moment.

The car has been sitting dormant for the last year, and i have just been starting the car to run the pump to air up the tires, or have been making extremely short trips around the driveway.
The exhaust also needs to be relaced and has some rust holes.
Still, despite this, 10 miles per gallon seems really low.
I wouldn't believe it, except that my fuel guage is nearing empty.

-Thanks !
