OK not much difference with the 215, mine came with 205/40/16 and road like rocks.

Thanks.

The temps have remained the same as before. The bumper on there before was grill blocked to the same opening, you just couldn't see the coroplast because I had a grill insert over it.

The opening is more than enough for the winters here in MN... I might even make a temporary plug of foam to put in it for winter.

UPDATE:
I started making the front lip last night. I nearly have it completed. I just need to stop at Home Depot on the way home from work to pick up some more supplies.
Expect pictures tonight or tomorrow morning.

Home Depot is my favorite Auto Parts store, lol.

Pics of the lip!

I have been contemplating making one myself, since I can't find anything commercially available for under $100 bucks. Even some of them still require modification.

Did you find anything at the depot long enough to cover the entire width of your car in 1 piece? I have a source for 4x8' sheets of abs plastic, but can't stomach the price to only use a 8x60" chunk.....

Hi,

I would love to see pictures of the construction of this -- it sounds like I (for one) could use this on my grill blocks!

Quick "in progress" shot since I'm home taking care of my sick girls today and didn't get it all finished yet:

I still have four more brackets to make and to coat the lip in black Plasti-Dip for rock chip protection.

The lip material is called FiberEdge and the brackets are made from 1/8" thick x 1" aluminum flat stock that I measured drilled and bent.

I'd like to think that people might open their eyes at some point... instead, I find it more and more likely that I'll just close mine.

Wow, looks good. I'll wait for the daylight pics to judge, but that looks more like an air dam than a lip spoiler... just sayin

I guess you're right, it is more of an air dam than spoiler.

I actually finished with all of the fabrication part of it today while I was at home with my sick kids. I might even get to painting it tonight and then I could get some pics in the light tomorrow.
