My car feels young again!
This might be a success story of a different kind, but in using RainX and new wipers in combination, then driving in the pouring rain, I felt like I was in a new car!
No more visibility issues, streaky glass, or other assorted junk. I'm very happy about this!
PS: I got my best tank the other day too

I like the "star wars" effect of water on RainX at mid/high speed

 congrats for your 250% EPA
I may not reach a 250% before a couple centuries, but I may reach your 67.55 mpg with my current tank

I discovered rain x way back when an old p/u trucks wiper motor went out. It was a custom order part so I tried rain x wow! When I finally got the part I drove a couple more weeks with rain x. It is so good. I use it instead of wipers now.

Apply two layers on wet glass in alternating directions. across then up and down. Next, buff off with moist terry towel. A final step that can help reduce streaks is flush with high volume, low pressure water (rain).
Then the faster you drive or the harder it rains the less you need wipers.

Quick - burn more fuel so you don't have to use your wipers!!! LOL.
^^ First thing that went through my head when I read "the faster you go...".
I've had fairly good luck just using Rain-X washer fluid.

Congrats on the best tank!
I used Rain-X washer fluid for awhile once and didn't like it. With every stroke of the wipers, it would leave a big foggy patch in its wake, that didn't dissipate almost till the wipers came back again. Never seen that problem without Rain-X, so I just don't use it and all is good.

I actually made a little movie about applying it, which is basically the instructions on the bottle, but heck, people like movies.

Rain-x also reduces the load on the wipers, reducing wear on the linkage and the load on the alternator. Quantify that! Now there's a challenge.
With rain-x being so slippery, the wind might actually push your wipers up fast enough to generate powah.
All right, Back to reality...
