Dude,
Be careful about which locking cap you get.
My Metro had one from Stant when I got it and the cap would whistle at highway speed.
So much fuel being pulled form the tank each second don'tcha know.
The tank is 'supposed to be airtight but I think the cap had too much age on it and had given up. Or maybe it wasn't for a sealed system in the first place.
My local GM dealer sells locking caps for the car but I don't know what they cost. I just picked an OEM from Pick-N-Pull one day and my noise went BuhBye.
